Hi!

Welcome to Faith Bible Church!  I am John Treischmann, the pastor of our church.

We here at Faith believe that our website, and particularly this home page, is the front door to our church.  We believe you, and others like you, will visit us here before ever coming to our church building.  So, let me tell you a little about ourselves to help you make up your mind if you want to come and visit us in person.

First of all, we are an independent Bible-teaching church.  What I mean by this is that we are not connected with any particular denomination.  Also, we are an elder-led church and I serve as one of the elders on the team.  A team of deacons assist the elders with administrative oversight of selected ministries in our church.

As individuals and as a church family, we believe the Bible is inspired of God, true in all that it says, and profitable for teaching us what we need to know, believe, and live by.

We are a church family who is growing in our love for God, one another, and those around us here in our area.  Our desire and goal is to glorify God as we worship Him and as we serve others on His behalf here in our church, out in our community, and around our world.

And we want you to know, the ‘others’ in our community includes you.  We want to be used of God to serve you however we can.  So, what can we do to help you?  Whatever your answer to this question is, if God has enabled us to do it, we will do it the best we can.

I want to encourage you to look through our website here to find out more about us, our beliefs and our ministries at Faith.  And then, I want to invite you to come and visit us in the near future on a Sunday morning for worship.

We would be pleased to have you as our guest.  Oh, and if you come, please remember to dress casually.  And we promise, you won’t be asked to stand up and be recognized; speak up and say anything; or give money.
